Training Center

The Cleveland Training Center is 32,000 square feet containing classroom and lab space.

Classrooms include the CAD/Computer Classroom, HVAC Classroom, Main Classroom (North & South), and Welding Classroom. Labs include the HVAC Lab, Sheet Metal Lab and the Welding Lab, which is an American Welding Society (AWS) Accredited Test Facility.

5-YEAR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM


The Sheet Metal Workers’ Local #33, Cleveland District, covering Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties will be accepting applications on the 2nd Monday of each month.

The following are REQUIRED at the time of application:

  1. Applicants shall be at least 17 years of age (photo ID required).

  2. Applicants must have received a High School Diploma or GED (proof required).

  3. A $10 application fee will be charged. The fee is payable at the time of application. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.


Applicants will be required to successfully complete a standardized test (independently administered), to qualify for an interview. The test is administered on a later date and the testing agency charges a $35 test fee.
