2017 Tentative Meeting Dates & Activities

Please refer to your quarterly newsletter for exact dates, times & activities.

January 4, 2017 – Regular meeting at 1:00pm. Coffee, donuts & pizza will be available starting at 11:30am. Bingo will be played for those interested in staying after the meeting.

February 1, 2017 – Regular meeting at 1:00pm. Coffee, donuts & pizza will be available starting at 11:30am. We will be raffling off a pair of tickets to the Rec Fund Reverse Raffle to be held in March. You must be present to win the tickets and you must be able to use the tickets yourself. The winner cannot sell the tickets. After the meeting, we will play the dice game LCR(Left, Center, Right).

March 8, 2017 – Corned Beef Luncheon at 12:00 noon with meeting to follow. Doors open at 11:00am. We will have a speaker from the Cleveland Indians. Reservations for the luncheon are required. Texas Hold’em will be played after the meeting.

March 22, 2017 – Annual Spring Breakfast at 9:30am. This is held at The Place To Be Deli & Restaurant, 5751 Smith Rd., in front of the shopping center. Sign up at a meeting or call Pat Miller at 234-284-8450 so we can get a head count for breakfast.

April 5, 2017 – Regular meeting at 1:00pm. Chili luncheon at 12:00 noon. Doors open at 11:00am. Reservations are required.

April 26, 2017 – Casino bus trip to Wheeling Downs Racetrack & Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. More information & cost will be announced. Sign up at a meeting before March 1, 2017 or call Dave Gaeta at 440-888-0904 for more information.

May 3, 2017 – Pork Chop Luncheon at 12:00 noon with meeting to follow. Doors open at 11:00am. Reservations are required.

June 7, 2017 – Annual Summer Luncheon. Time and place will be announced at a later date. Reservations are required. This luncheon takes the place of our June meeting.

July 5, 2017 – Picnic on the Patio. Our picnic will be held on the back patio of the union hall. Doors open at 11:00am. Bring your own meat to grill. Side dishes will be provided by the club. Outdoor games to play, card games!! Sign up at a meeting or call Pat Miller at 234-284-8450 so we can have a head count for the side dishes. This picnic takes the place of our July meeting.

August 2, 2017 – Stuffed cabbage Luncheon at 12:00 noon with a meeting to follow. Doors open at 11:00am. Reservations are required.

September 6, 2017 – Rigatoni, Sausage & Meatball Luncheon at 12:00 noon catered by Santos Restaurant. Doors open at 11:00am. Reservations are required. Our meeting will follow the luncheon. Bring your aluminum for the recycling fund raiser.

September 23, 2017 – Clambake sponsored by the Retirees’ Club and the Rec Fund. Details to be announced at a later date.

October 4, 2017 – Pierogi & Sausage Luncheon at 12:00 noon with a meeting to follow. Doors open at 11:00am. Reservations are required.

October, 2017 – Annual Fall Breakfast. Time and Place to be determined.

October, 2017 – Casino Bus Trip. Time and place to be determined.

November 1, 2017 – Jimmy John’s Sub Luncheon at 12:00 noon with a meeting to follow. Doors open at 11:00am. Reservations are required. Election of officers for the 2018-2019 term will be held. Please plan on attending to vote. Think about volunteering to keep our club active. We have the best club within the Local 33 area.

December 6, 2017 – Annual Holiday Luncheon at 1:00pm. Doors open at 11:30am. Reservations are required. Service awards for retirees will be handed out.

December, 2017 – Children’s Lunch with Santa. Watch for your letter from the Rec Fund.

December, 2017 – Local #33 meeting and Holiday Dinner at the union hall.
